Two Pigeons in Flight, New York, NY – 2015

I had been photographing pidgeons sitting on a windowsill. I happen to enjoy pidgeons. I’m not sure why people generally don’t like them. In a burst of excitement, feathers, and frenzied cooing noises I followed several of the birds my finger on the trigger all the while. The resulting image captures two birds, frozen in time, striking poses that seem to me like dancers on a stage.
