Man Surrounded by Windows, New York, NY – 2018

I was walking along New York City’s High Line park, when I saw an interesting assortment of windows. Here was a building, clearly quite old, with an array of windows, only two of which seeming to be aligned. Protruding from the centermost window was the arm of and elderly man.  In a city so strictly gridded it can be striking to see things that appear disorganized, refusing to adhere to the rigid, gridded way of life.
