Fog Rising in the Catskills, 2018

$10.00$250.00

Short Description

After a hike through rain and mist, over soggy wet leaves and the slippery exposed roots of trees that border the trail, sometimes acting like a stair or a ladder, David Nieves and I reached the overlook on the summit of Balsam Mountain. At first, there was nothing—just an endless white expanse. Then, after waiting for a while, the clouds began to break. Looking down, we could see the clouds rising like steam from the land folded between mountains.
